Twitter Lost 15,000 of my Followers

My HELP Ticket (see below) was submitted to Twitter today…after 3 comments on the forum and 3-4 @replies to @ev who is the Co-founder of Twitter.  I don’t mean to make a big stink about this issue, but I like many people have spent months, weeks, days, hours and minutes connecting with peeps.  I have built some valuable relatiohships with people.

“I still sit here with loosing 15000K followers last Thursday with no response….I can’t follow peeps and peeps can’t follow me. I would surely appreciate some help. @aheartforgod also lost 22000K followers. You can’t tell me all our followers were spam, when I hand selected 90% of the peeps myself. It would be real nice to have this resolved. This is the 3rd time I have posted on this forum. I have sent @replies to @ev @Twitter too. Thanks @KarriannGraftwitter

    I also want to you recognize that @LouBortone lost 8000K, @aheart4god lost 22k & I lost the 15K. I am just trying to have people be aware that we are not getting any support and actually Twitter closed @aheart4god’s ticket with no response.

    We would greatly appreciate and support you can give us pls spread the word.

    It looks like it might even be worse than that. I just tried to see how many followers you have left after loosing 15K and I get an “account suspended” page. :(

    I consider myself lucky that I only lost a hundred or so followers during this recent Twitter “update”, but do wish that Twitter would communicate with it’s users when changes are about to be made and what to expect.

    I can only assume that the losses cited above are not part of any “cleanup” campaign to clear out spammers – it’s obvious that some users have seen significant losses in their followers and it is up to Twitter to respond to their crisis!

    I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost so many followers. And that Twitter doesn’t feel like communicating with you.

    I used to have an account that got suspended for, in my opinion, no good reason. I’ve filed a few tickets to unsuspend the account and these tickets got either deleted or closed without a word. There hasn’t been any non-automated communication from their side since the ‘one week suspension’ two weeks ago and the account is still suspended.

    Karriann, thanks for all your generous help.

    After our conversation I sent a message to @ev and also an e-mail to Del@twitter.com explaining what had happened and requesting Neill's account be reinstated..

    Within 20 minutes his account was back up and his 14,000 and his Followers reappeared. Yippee!

    Below is a copy of the message I sent in hopes it might support someone else. :-) Once again Karriann, Thank You!

    Hello there…I was told you were the guy to talk to. :-) I sure hope that's true. My husbands twitter account got suspended last week. We sent a support ticket and only received an automated e-mail saying that would take a minimum of 30 days to check into his account. I put a request on the forum and heard nothing back. I messaged @ev today, but haven't heard back from him either.

    This is a totally legitimate account that we've taken time and consideration building. There is nothing but real communication from us to other real people. Nothing that he is doing can be considered illegal according to Twitter.

    Would you be willing to help restore @NeillGibson 's account? I would be so happy if I actually heard back from you, it has been very frustrating dealing with twitters nonresponsive customer service.

    My next, hopefully unnecessary step is to start asking for help from my Twitter community.

    Please let me know if you can help or if you know who can.
