Exceeding YOUR Customers Expectations

Untitled from Karriann Graf on Vimeo.

I wanted to share this short video on Exceeding YOUR Customers Expectations because its harder and more expensive to earn new customers than it is to take care of the customers that are already raving fans.

What could you do to exceed your customers expectations?  Make comments so we can all learn.

Excellent point, Karriann. Except you did what many customers won't … you went back and let the man at the church know that there was a problem. How many other people do that? And if they don't do that, then it's possible that the people who were serving up the ribs might continue to underwhelm their customers.

From a business owner's perspective, I am sure he is appreciative that you pointed out to him where the was a shortcoming.

So I guess the point to this comment is that you should always try to overwhelm and over-deliver. Then, even if your customers never provide any feedback to you at all, you can feel good knowing that it's not because you're disappointing or shortchanging them.

Such a good point, I could tell you of dozens of times I have 'blacklisted' shops simply because the ppl working there are busy chatting amongst themselves and I am a secondary concern. The shopper/customer/client wants to feel important. And in reality how important is the person that your business relies on?

  • KarriannGraf

You are so right Luceedee, I have no problem leaving an establishment if the workers chit chat is more important. It amazes me that some companies just don't get it! I guess sometimes the workers don't really bother because it's not their own business….just a thought.

Kasey, I was so upset when this happened because I was surprising my husband and it just turned out bad. We see these people often when they come and go from the church and our dog loves their front lawn.

The moral of the story is really to over deliver in your business and people will always come back for more!
