Linking
your social networks together in one place makes it easier for those who want to know more about you or to follow you to do it with the click of a mouse. It’s easy to do too. For example, you can connect your Facebook Profile to Twitter by adding one of those follower buttons? Here’s how to do it.
1. Go to http://twitbuttons.com and pick out the button you would like to use. There are many to chose from but you may have good reasons for choosing one over another. For example, to be consistent, the button I use here is the same one I use on my Facebook Fan Page.
Once you’ve chosen the button you want to use, you’ll need to put your Twitter Username in the top box so that the code is prepared properly for your Twitter account.
2. Next, go to your Facebook account and, at the bottom of your screen click on the word “applications.”. This brings up another menu. Click on “Browse more Applications,” then, in the “Search Apps” box type in “Extended Info”.
3. Finally, click on the “Extended Info” and a box will come up this is where you copy the code from the Twitter Button that you want to use. Then click on the “add to profile” button and this will save your changes. Then you can return to your Facebook page.
